MY LOVE TANK IS VERY FULL.

Happy new year people!!! Or is it too late to say that?

I just got off the phone with a friend who repeatedly asked what’s going on in my head and on my mind. So I decided to search my head and mind to find out what’s up. All I found is that my love tank is very full. This past week, my friends have been making little deposits into my love tank and now it’s running over.

I sometimes forget how awesome my friends are, until they do something that makes me feel so overwhelmed with love that I am reminded that they are undercover super heroes. A scripture comes to mind

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

Have you ever had someone pray for you so passionately?  The kind of prayer that can only come from a place of love and a genuine desire to see you pull through and do good.

I have, and I can say it comes with an amazing feeling.

Praying with friends has gotten me through really rough patches and what would otherwise have been very lonely times. It has also been the best form of celebration to exciting events and achievements in my life.

Friends that pray with and for you are the best kind of friends. Nothing beats a soulful connection that goes deeper than “besties, bff and squad goals”.  NOTHING!!!

There are friends, and there are godly friends.

Everybody needs godly friends, it’s exciting to have a relationship with God and know that you can call him father; it is even more exciting to have friends that you can share this relationship with. They help you enjoy God.

We all make mistakes; godly friends encourage you and hold you accountable. They do not judge you because they are your friends; they do not egg you on because they are godly people.  They help you see your blind spots, and can tell when you are starting to drift.

Godly friends make your love tank full or almost full, but never empty they are the representation of God’s sincere love on earth.

This isn’t me saying abandon all your non-christian friends, this is me saying having godly friends in your inner circle is a great idea.
